Can't get the alternator back into the bracket

Ok, my car's battery wasn't getting a charge, so i check for the alternator and sure bet it was. Now i ordered a other alternator and took the old one off and tried to put the other one on no luck at all. I have pics of the bracket P0001_100113[1].jpgP0003_100113[1].jpgP0002_100113[1].jpg, Please help thanks

They don't just slide into place. Have to move it up and down and push in.

Can hit that bushing on the left out more and it will prolly be easier.

Yep, that bushing is meant to slide over to make the alt rigid.

Same thing is done to the lower mount on the rear shocks.

So, After 30mins of tapping at that bushing, i got it in... thanks for all of your help. Now to get the battery charged turn the key and see if that engine will turn, if not that my starter is gone as well.
