have to post more details if you want anyone to help. what did you do to the motor, how have you tested fuel, spark, compression? is the distributor positioned correctly?

i did a complete rebuild to the motor thats in the car.
and i checked the compression with a compression tester, the spark by taking out each spark plug and wire and turning over the motor to see if it fires, and i just put a new fuel pump on it and new injectors.
also when i crank the motor over a couple of times you can smell a very strong gas odor.

9/10 its timing. i did the exact same thing you did (complete rebuild/wouldnt start) before i realized the dist. shaft was one tooth to the right. turned it back a notch and fine tuned it from there after the car was running.

i checked the timing and its on and the only code that its giving it 51 and that code is for the A/C switch or the neutral start switch signal and the reason in getting that code is because i took off my A/C

Do any of you think that it could be getting too much gas and the spark is not igniting it

seriously doubt it but it could be. i'm still leaning toward timing. did you check it with a timing light? even if you're just cranking the car you should get faint flashes and be able to see how far off you are.

Hey i got it to start it was getting to much fuel so i disconnected the EFI fuse and it started so i have to go out and buy a AFPR or a new fuel pressure regulator
