Canada VS. USA

That was one helluva game, in my opinion hockey is the best sport to watch, American football/soccer have constant breakup of action, and baseball simply has no action.

Definately a great way to finish up the olympics, and if you're going to earn the silver metal, that is the way to earn it.

Might I add,

Way to go Canada. Good game.

The Americans might have won it, I am glad they didn't but they played a good game.

Oh and

CANADA ROCKS!

I cant beleive Canada tried to protect a 1 goal lead. The wind was definatly taken out of my sails when Kesler got that goal in the dieing seconds. I was super suprised by how Canada responded in OT. What a game though!! Theres nothing wrong with silver when all the critics were not even considering USA for a medal, let alone a game in the quarter finals. All and all that was the best tourny Ive ever watched, beggining to end. Incase anyone was wondering the predictions for the medals were Canada for gold, Russia for Silver and Sweden for Bronze. But as soon as Burke announced the team at the winter classic I knew that the USA team would be a power house.

I was luckey enough to go to downtown during the olympics, many times actually. Wow, what a buzz. Ive never experianced anything like it in my life. Talked to so many people from many differant places it was such a cool experience. One night I drank many beers with a Swiss Group and an American group from Seattle. Every American I talked to really suprised me, they all told me (about the hockey games) that they wanted to see their country win, and thats just a given. But, they all wanted to see Canada take the gold in hockey. One guy summed it up really well. He said he had no idea how much hockey meant to Canadians. Just walking the streets he could tell that hockey was more than a sport in Canada, its a way of life, it flows in our blood and is a life line. He even went as far to say that hockey here is bigger than football, or baseball or basketball anywhere in America. Id say 75% of people were wearing a team canada jersey. I wish I could share the past 2 weeks of my life with everyone, it was unreal.

Kesler scored the first goal, forget who scored the 2nd though, Praizer, Braser?? I'm sure all of Canada was extiguished with that one, but in the end...man what a end. Yah I bet it was a freaking blast downtown! I'm from Abby but couldn't get home cause I was freaking in school:( Least I get to see Vancouver@Edmonton on the 23rd:) 3rd row centre!!!!! Look for the red faced drunk with the Vancouver jersey hahaha.

I hope the NHL makes it to 2014, seems like they might not.
