Can U Identify this?

It goes on the drivers door handle on the inside near the lock somewhere, but I'll be damned if I can find where it plugs in.

I have poured through the TSRM trying to find it, I even took the passenger door panel off to spot it on that side, but there doesn't appear to be one on the passenger side.

In short: What is it... and where exactly does it go???

Also, if someone knows where this appears in the TSRM and could drop a link that'd be great.

Does it maybe go to the illumination ring? I'm not even sure which years had that.

Maybe, I may be wrong but it could be the plug for the key hole light.

Illumination ring was my first thought.

haha my illumination ring was so pathetic i didnt know i had it for several months of much night driving

Illumination ring sounds right, but what exactly does it plug into. I have not been able to find this thing in the TSRM or the EPC.

I'm thinking it plugs into the lock barrel somehow? It's way in the interior of the door and hard to spot.
