Can oil gauge/sensor be calibrated?

My dash oil pressure gauge is reading about 15 lbs low with an OEM Toyota oil pressure sensor that is less than a year old. I checked it with a mechanical gauge after a rebuild.

I will check the gauge per the TRSM diagnostic spec. Other than replacing parts is there any calibration of the sensor or gauge?

Thanks- there was some question about whether jetjock has ever posted anything about it but I couldn't find it.

I could bend the needle. Or rotate it on the bezel 15 psi. Or re-label the gauge face. Or add an amplifier to the circuit. :icon_razz

I haven't heard of many gauges failing so it's probably not the gauge. I'll check it. This is the second sensor. I'll check wiring and ground also.
