Ok...just got off the phone with PWR...$40 for a weld on filler neck for the Supra radiator. Now I get to make the radiator that Koyo should have made.

Hmm, to me it looks like a manufacturing fault, not degreased properly before mounting. It shouldn't come off that clean and unbend if it was mounted properly.

just my 2ct

JB weld it!!!

seriously though like rich said, prolly manufacturing default. Either way the rad shop will definitely braze it back on for you, that's what i did when i needed new mounting tabs for my rad.

They were able to weld the nipple back on, but when they did part of the seating surface fell off. He filed it down and checked it...it still held pressure. He did the work for free though and said if it doesn't work out, he'll weld on a new neck for free too. So, we will see how well it holds up in the car.

I poked a hole in my koyo when I was putting it in almost a year ago. JB welded it and it's held ever since. Dunno if JB weld will hold that OF on though... Worth a try?

JB Weld is a ghetto fix to say the least, considering how cheap it is to repair properly...
But if your on the supercheap JB Weld is some pretty amazing stuff...

I put the main upper inlet nipple and the overflow nipple (back) on a radiator with JB Weld (emergency off road repair). It never failed or leaked for well over 2 years after that. It saw PLENTY of shock, vibration, and heat too.

I'll never forget that little radiator.
