Can i use a 7mge distributor w/ honda coil into 7mgte

:1zhelp:I know how it sounds but before you guys flame me or your not supposed to mix match parts.I was told this radical solution for my ignition issues by zummizle and some other members on the flash chat.So iam wondering if this could be done???:1zhelp:

I am not getting any spark from my coils. The car just turns over but it wont start. If the cps its off will it cause the car not to.And thank you for taking the time to respond to my post to all of you

A distributor will do the exact same thing if timing to the cams/crank is off...swapping from a CPS will not help. Do this:

- Confirm the #1 piston is at TDC by inserting a small diameter wooden dowel or chopstick in the spark plug hole. Rotate the crank damper until the dowel peaks out at max height.
- The crank damper index should point at zero when the dowel is maxed out.
- Both cam gears should be pointing at the index marks on the back plate when all of the above is true.
- The CPS should be installed and look like this with everything lined up:
