Guys.

The last Thursday I went to the 1/8 track to test my car.
My best time was 8.9 seg.

I’m not a professional driver, actually is only my hobby :naughty:
I know that I need to improve my driver skills  .

My goal is 8.20 to 8.40 seg. And have 500RWHP

The engine is strong
A/R with out nos was around 10.9 to 11.4
A/R with NOS was 10.
The boost was set to 17psi because the WI system doesn’t work
92 pump gas.
I use NOS only in 3rd gear 50HP shoot.

The car spin in 1st and 2nd gears, that’s why I think that may by with some radials tires I can reduce the time.

I want to buy a 18” BG radial tires, but the small tire option for the 18” wheels is the 275 / 35 - 18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial Tire

I don’t want to change to other wheels, I know that is cheaper but I like my car look with 18” wheels, so I want to know if I can run less the 8.5seg with 18” wheels.

Note: In December I’ll install 264 cams, findanza cams, valve springs, Q45TB and forged piston with eagle rod’s

By the way is my DD car :biglaugh: .

What do you suggest? :1zhelp:

Sounds like you're to heavy on the gas in 1st and 2ed.

I'm sure you you get some 17 with more sidewall you should have a larger footprint length ways when you drop the psi in the tire.
