I asked a co worker about refinishing it... he said no way in hell because its chrome plated finish... wouldnt work... in other news, hes a welder, said hell cut and reweld the threading for my shifter to do the SOGI mod for me :)

How noisy is the vibration on that mod, I heard it was bad....

vibration isnt a factor if you get a new bushing and the green gasket

So I go in and ask for a new shifter gasket and the green gasket? I have no idea wtf the green gasket is haha

search for like "green trucker bushing" here on the forum to find a part number. Ive got one, but you really should learn how to use the search button.

Trust is way cooler.
I have a way cooler knob then, lol... I checked today at the shop, and it is in fact a TRUST, not a Greddy...

I have a green trucker gasket too... I must be a baller... ;)

I like my shift knob, round and black, but I switch back and forth between than and the stock knob (depends on my driving, if I'm serious, I go for the ball)

also got marlin crawler bushings, best shifter mod you can do...
