Im in a world of shit and if you saw any other threads of mine, supras still busted. I need to get it an engine soon bc that corsica I bought ate itself hard, think it had a head gasket on its way out.

Id like to get a 7MGE and just drop it in and be done. I dont have a ton of money but if I had to get a 1JZ (which I found plenty of clips here in town) I would try to take out a $2500 loan and the rest comes from my pocket. I dont wanna spend that time and money YET, I need a car. If anyone knows WHERE I can get a GE, running, not needing a rebuild, just some new seals and a head torque down before it goes in. I found a place here in town that sells em for $500 but the guy doesnt have any more and he said they are running dry. The other place I need to call monday, they have it for $650. I saw one website, the tokyomotorimports or something like that, but they are in canada and I dont know the regulations or shipping (Im guessing like over $250)

If I dont get a loan, in 2 weeks Ill have $800+ cash to spend on this, the following week another $400. If anyone could help please Id really appreciate it.

ALSO I have a 7mgte block that needs a rebuild, not MUCH on it, an R154 tranny and the W58 thats on my car, along with the spun rod 7mge thats on there now too. If anyone wants any trades or anything to help me get my car running, turbo or not, Id greatly appreciate it.

I realize getting another 7m could be problematic, but while I have that in I will rebuild one of my engines out of the car, and bulletproof it the best I can, so that Im ready for this next time.

Thats too funny.! Reminds me of a friend in High School. His engine blew and he pushed it into the lake in the back of the school!! :biglaugh: .

haha yeah, I was driving down 290 at about 70 and it started to slow down, my foot didnt move, I pushed more, it went to 65 and slowed more, I was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh damn..... shuts off, Im rollin, high traffic, I move to the left shoulder. Popped the hood, oil/coolant mixture spewing from cracks and shit, hilarious shit. I laughed, called my GF 2 mins away but at school, waited in the car from 6 to 8pm, my ipod was in there, I turned the speakers up, ran that bitches battery dry rockin out. I was there singing at the top of my lungs for 2 hours to my fav music, I loved it.

OK So lets say I shove out $700 instead to Osaka for that GTE, is it gonna come with a wire harness and ECU? I have an NA right now, and I know Ill need all of that, Id like to get a GTE if it came with everything, otherwise Ill get the $480 GE.

So you think I should do that HG while its out b4 it goes in? I planned on putting something in, retorquing it, then rebuilding another one out of the car that will be my baby. But maybe your right, get the engine, redo the HG, drop her in. Should I finally go turbo or not though, hard decision. Oh and another $100 or so for a boost gauge.

just go gte, do the hg while its out, then sell your old 7mge. you dont need 2 engines to worry about. keeping 1 runnign will be more then enough. Go turbo, and buy a boost guage from someone here. oor, you could alwyas buy a good longblock from a respected member on here, slap your na head on with a mhg after a resurface and actually end up knowing the condition the botom end is in. and then grab an ecu from a partout and a r154 as well.

I dont have that much time.

Heres what I have already, youre gonna laugh

I have a 7mGE with a spun rod still in the car, complete with ECU, NA Head, all that. W58 5 Speed.

I have a 7MGTE Block, crank and pistons, not much else with that. R154 Rock Solid 5 Speed, need the driveshaft.

Various other parts, extra radiator, thigns like that.

Heres what Ill do, get that GTE, MHG, ARPs and get its head resurfaced. Throw it in there, pray everything goes ok. I dont know what Ill do with the rest yet, but Im keeping ONE at least for a backup. Ill grab a boost gauge n driveshaft for the R154 from someone on here.

Anything else Im gonna need? Ignitor?
