Yup Im here, not dead yet! I know you guys were like "finally.....whew I thought we'd never seen the last of him, last time." But to your dismay and horror Im still here. Just been really busy getting ready for the transplant. You guys and girl, are amazing because you go out of your way to check on someone else.
So I thank all of you for caring so much!

He's too ornery for cancer to have a chance. Keep up the battle Josh. I know cancer will give in before you do. Let us know how the transplant goes. I'm sure the girls and I will see you next spring. It's only a two and a half hour drive up there...................lol

Ok guys and girls,
Today was the 1st of 5 treatments of radiation. Its CRAZY! They make a netted plastic mold of your face and it straps to the table. So they had me lay on a flat table that my face and head are strapped too. Then they leave the room, and control the machine (?)(cant describe it my face was covered with the mold.) Anyway they target spots of your brain with the machine, and then you can feel the radiation hitting your body! Its undescribable, like feeling something hitting you on a molecular level. Which is exactly what they are doing.

Anyway thought it would be cool to share the experience,

Josh M

It was hard because the mold is that close, and even if my eyes were closed they had to be pointed down. Weird, no?

Hey ya'll guess what i learned yesterday. The radiation is not supposed to be seen or felt or smelled. I can do all three!?!? Yeah that scared me and the doctors! And if any of you want to know, Its blue, stinks like something synthetic, and makes you feel transperant and passing through your skin.

Hang in there Josh. One down and four to go sounds better than it did this time last year. At least you can see an end in sight. How far apart are the treatments going to be? Hopefully you keep your strength up between treatments. I'm not worried about your spirtis staying up, since you've been positive through the whole ordeal. When this is over, next year, I'll take you for a ride in my 1jz..................:biglaugh:
