OK so i figured it out!
Went and redid the timing on the belt, and of course the exhaust cam was off a little(3 notches on the cog) and there was a little bit of slack in the belt, but not enough to slip. Took me an hour or two, because i kept loosing tools or couldn't find any tools. It runs like a scalded cat now, and starts up easier, no idling problems, exhaust quieted down when i let off the idle, instead of rumbling and popping.
Still having waterfall effect, but not as bad. I think i need to burp the coolant system. I found a perfect hill.
