Excellent! You should have more/better than I have to post up.
With your build, I would expect to see a nice torque increase.
Thanks! That is my plan... I had the 1st ignition coil go tits up on me last night :3d_frown: (limped home on five cylinders). I checked the remaining two ignition coils and they both were at the top of the spec for resistance, so I ordered three new Ignition coils. They are available through the National warehouse and cost $150 ea. They are sched to be here in Portland on the 26th, three day before the planned Dyno tune.
I'll post up some numbers on my build thread "Race Ready 7M" . Van

To anyone that has tuned their cams, do you now have a slight lope?

My idle is different and I'm hoping it's from tuning the intake cam and not a newly developing problem...

Get your parts today Van?
Whew! Got them all in tonight (3 new ignition coils and coil wire harness). Noticed oil in the spark plug valley so shot some brake cleaner in there and as it is soo cold tonight, I'll have to wait until tomorrow AM to start 7M up. I didn't bother to put FIPG on the cam cover gaskets, as I'm planning on taking the covers off real soon, to retorque the head.
In the meantime, my neighbor told me that oil on the spark plug wires means the're going to be dodgy, and need replacing. I've never heard that was true. Shoot, I've used oily plug wires on this 7M in the past without problems. Replacement wires from Toyota, cost almost $100, in Portland. What do you know about oily wires? Van

Mine have recently been tuned and I now have a lope at idle sounds tough :)

Thanks for posting. I would agree that my idle does sound a bit meaner! ;) I should record it and compare it to my previous idle... :)

What did they end up setting your cams to?

From an electrical stand point, oil is conductive. So, if you had one or more bad wires, it would increase your chances of a misfire. Other than that, I can't think of what he could be referring to.

Kenny,
The wires were all dried out and the plugs cleaned. They inspected all the plugs and are all set to .030 and indexed. The misfire at the dyno on Friday was bad enough, that the run was cancelled. The 7M needs to have the misfire sorted out before a dyno tune. The misfire comes on under load and boost. I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'm going to post this in my build thread. Van
