All mine are getting replaced tomorrow (assuming the finally show up in the mail)

I'm not very good at all at putting these things in, obviously, or they wouldn't be leaking now.

Does anyone have some tips or tricks I could use to assist me? IJ. posted a tip in a thread somewhere but I could not locate the substance he was referring to using...

i just press mine on and if the lip catches i get a wodden "stick" (best way to describe it) and then press them in. but a socket that fits usually works. for the cams i was able to put them on my hand.

and i've never put anything actually ON the seals, and i've never had a leak.

I was kinda hesitant to redo my cams but they're kind of at an angle so I figured what the hell, why not.

Also: Do the seals go as far as possible, or just till they're flush with the head/block/etc?

When i did my front main seal i could not get it in for the life of me so what I did was get some PVC of the same size with an end cap and a longer bolt with washer that will thread up. Tap the end cap in the middle for the bolt. Put the seal in a bit, then tighten it in with the pvc/bolt assembly
