When I added a wing to my 87" N?A,I thought it was the shit. Now that I look back at in photo's I realize it made my car look like a ricer.
The only wing I have now is the stock one. And I don't even care for it.
I have seen some screaming sleepers, and some riced-out 4 door sedans. It just depends on personal taste.
The trick is to just have taste.

As everyone else seems to be saying, it's your car and you should be done to your taste.

Personally, I like the stock body of the MKIII. Wheels, lip, and lowered, then spend your money under the hood. Nothing else is needed to the exterior. To, if you pay attention, regardless of what is done, if it is done well, with taste and it is clean, you really aren't going to get much negative feed back.

I hate seeing kids put all their money into the engine while neglecting the rest of the car. Yeah, it has 400+ rwhp but it looks like garbage, the paint is shot, the interior is trashed, the power steering leaves puddles, the brakes squeak.....etc. In the end, the motor ends up blowing because corners were cut do to finances; the kid doesn’t have any money to fix it; the car is worth nothing at this point; and we are left with another junk MK3 going to the junkyard.

Ahhh, I feel better now ....

Simply put...Whatever you do, keep it clean and do it properly.

Agreed. Don't take so many shortcuts that it looks like ghetto trash. Use PVC, Home Depot parts, and other time/money savers VERY little, if at all. There will be times you may have to "do what you have to do" in a pinch, but always try to eventually fix/install PROPERLY.

Trying to make a Supra look like another sports car is also a big no-no. No more pseudo-Ferrari, or other exotic car look. If you want that, get it. Just don't do it to the Supie.

I am pretty new to supras but I could not be happier with my mkiii. I was just wondering what you old-school guys hate to see done to these cars. as far as body, mechanical, styling, interior etc....

i hate all the cheaping out. people buying knock-off crap parts on ebay in an attempt to go fast....without doing any maintenance first.
