Just find a coast to coast shipper. Many times they will have space enough for something like a tranny. And the cost will not be much because they are going there already and a trans is small in comparison to the other stuff they are carrying. Ive heard as little as $400 for an entire car if they are leaving soon and dont have anything else to take and have room.
