buying a used flywheel?

Hey im lookin for a fly wheel for my 5 spd swap, and a member offered to sell me a fidenza flywheel. He said it was on his car for about 500 miles before taking it out and doing a 1jz swap. what should I look for in a used flywheel, and if I buy it do I need to do anything to it before using it?

any thoughts appreciated

but you should be fine as long as its not glazed over and whatnot.
500mi can't do much damage to a flywheel.

Also if it is aluminum, you can change the steel friction plate if it is by chance glazed.

If you decide against it, I have a steel stocker that has been resurfaced 300-400 miles ago. I replaced it with a fidanza...
