Buying a new battery..... maybe?

So I have a $100 gift card for sears so I think i'm going to go with this battery:

4 year warranty too :-D


Seems like the top of the line one that sears offers. BUT the question is this:

I store my car over the winter and it will be put away early november (or first snowfall depending on which is first) so do I buy the battery now and use it for a few weeks then keep it on a charger all winter, or do I just wait until spring?

Just antsy to replace the POS that currently inhabits the battery tray :-D

Why buy a new battery if your current one is working fine?

I'd pull the existing battery, and wait until you bring the car out of storage to get the new battery.

Also, that looks to be a good bit more battery than you need. Why overspend just because you have a gift card?

a battery is a battery, it either works or is fucked. if it isnt working fair enough but if it still holds charge go buy somethn else wif ya gift card
