I have an oil leak and it seems as its coming from my SS lines goin to my oil cooler, is there anyway to test my lines? and is it safe to run without the oil cooler?

Are you sure its the SS line? They usually don't leak unless chafed or a hole has rubbed into it, unless its at the fitting. You can bypass the cooler, however only as a temp situation to get by. No long trips or hard pulls. It was put in for a reason by Toyota. Just run the cooler lines in a loop. Short term ONLY.

im guessing its a full flow setup^ and in which you NEED to loop the lines. Stock setup you could shim the cooler relief valve shut for a short term fix

ive heard of it with brake lines from dirt getting into the mesh and rubbing between the metal and rubber creating a hole.... never seen it first hand.

pull the line off and hook it up to an air compr. and increase the psi slowly...

Didnt want to take a chance on fixing it, so I just got through replacing it
