What are you running for a bottom end, and how many RPM's are you planning to spin it? I think I asked you this over the phone, but can't remember. Sorry....

Heres the finished exhaust and wg dump tube..

Grant, i will probably be spinning her to 8400 or so. My bottom end consists of Pauter rods and Ross pistons. Only one way to find out how she holds up!

DAMN, u might want to make that plate a little longer to catch all the exhaust.
first run 9s, yea.

For extended running, that plate might not be enough, but for a few passes that are 10 seconds or less, it should be fine. (Paint is pretty durable too, you might have some soot, but I doubt it would just burn/melt off unless your going for the flame thrower award at the track. (Backfires, and a few belches of flame should do nothing.)

If your worried, paint the car/fender in high temp paint.
