yeah, it doesn't mean anything unless they give it meaning...
I've seen places that offer different stages of upgrades which make sense together, say with stage 1 parts being for performance street driven car with stock engine management, and stage 3 parts being for a purpose built race car, but they make it clear that's what the stages indicate.

^ :werd: I've seen those too, but this guy is clearly doing it for show. Gee, if I do a mild port and polish on my head to get rid of the casting flashes, but keep the reversion dam on the exhaust side, doesn't it make my head a stage 1!?
wow , i havent seen this mutch cotroversy since alion fell off the raft!.but it,s nice to have people talk about my work,in portland oregon im mostly known as fast port racing . ive been a car tuner four four years and a motorcycle racer and moter builder for ten. ive ported ten supra heads this year and have two for saleim sorrey for not having any flow numbers so ill work on it and at tha mean time my flow bench is in the works. well my story to fifteen at two thuosand . my mods- polished crank,high compersion ring set,squer dected,00.021 off head raising compresion around 9/1, ported head hoged exaust ports of 5mm,ported turbo ,ported and polished comperssor,gasket matched to stock exaust manifold,ported elbow,in house three inc test pipe,to high flow cat ,into 2 3/4 pipe to a cat back magnaflow,in house aluminum ram air box,ported and polished throttle body, ported plenum,fuel presure regulator,two stage turbo x boost controller,550 injectors,hks plugs,ignition advanced to 13deg, bov,duel oil coolers stradeling the inter cooler,a pusher and a puller fan, sits on teins slamed,cross spoked 17x9 senica wheelsw/ 145,s front 175,s rear,some custom interer. im really enjoying the rebuild and the car clubs. all my work is tunable and reliable and always for sale.thanks

hows about a nice close up pic looking into the ports? do you have the volume of the runners and bowl area? or a casting? you can do all that without a flowbench.

i didn't dis anyone. i know my grammer is poor, however i couldn't understand a damn thing he wrote. if i'm going to try and put a product out; i'm going to convey myself as a professional. image is everything. if i were on ebay and saw that head i wouldn't even consider placing a bid on it due to the poor grammer; because the image i'm recieving is a poor one and i'm going to relate his grammar to his porting skills.
