Bruce lee would last all of 30 seconds in any MMA competition.

It's not like he was a badass to beging with. Samo Hung whupped his ass and Jackie Chan had to do his "stunts" in his movies. Bruce Lee is the most overrated anything in the history of everything.

most forms of martial arts teach you how to take a hit, and how to take a fall. at least mine did, and it helps to know those things for real life, even if your not fighting.

his style of martial arts was fricken sick. there is a reason that most people that do it are burned out by the time their 30 (if they start early), its intense as all hell.

Bruce Lee was one the smallest most powerful man the world has every seen. How many 5'5 140lbs men can kick/punch wholes in punching bags, knocking the spotter clear off his feet.Plus his hand speed is ridiculous fast how many other peoples movies do they have to slow it down to actually see what he is doing.I say he would hold his own.

I lean towards him losing also, but its a fun debate I think.

I think that Bruce Lee and Ultimate fighting are both a little overrated (not that I'm saying that I am any better).

There are some true masters out there that seriously just don't waste their time entering the UFC, or Pride, or any other similar tournys simply because they would destroy the competition... yes even Lidell.

They would do alright against some of the boxers, but if Tito or some of the others ever got them on the ground, it would be ugly. Just my two cents worth..........lol

chuck norris FTW,
and i wouldnt call jet li a "lower skilled fighter" he will still whoop my ass
well compared to Bruce Lee he was. im surprised no one mentioned muay thai fighting and Tony Jaa. Oh wait, these people who say they would get their asses kicked in a ring probably don't even know the fighting styles this martial artists used, let alone appreciate the amount of work to become as skilled as they are. Oh well. time to put the flame suit on.
oh and roundhouse kicks don't work in real life ;)

WRONG. Bruce Lee was true to fighting.

Jackie Chan is the cat that, while he did all of his own stunts and had lightning speed reactions, would get his arse kicked in a fight.

Jet Li, like a modern day Bruce Lee, are true fighters. IDGAF what movies showed, what characters did what stunts, etc etc. That has NOTHING to do with the mere fact that Bruce Lee was and still is a legend. Overrated? In some ways more than others...but he's easily overskilled compared to Jackie Chan or Jet Li.

On the other hand, That BOOST LEE guy knows his Tae kwon do and for 300lbs, will probably out out maneuver some of you cats. ;););)
