Broken Valve/Piece

Can someone tell me what this is and where I can get a replacement? The one I have is broken. Can I replace it with a generic one way valve?

I have a friend whose broke in that same place, and he still runs it. seems to run just fine.

Yeah you seriously dont need that.

It helps the stock valve operate. Without it you will experience some surge. IIRC it keeps the pressure on the bottom of the valve and assists the vacuum to pull it open. Without it the vacuum alone has to overcome the spring by its self, and acts slower.

A generic 1 way valve will work fine.
