Ok I was out racing did a couple of passes and all good sliping clutch. thats for another post tho. But a rsx with turbo and spray wanted to run heads up. so me being the guy that i am said "yea sure what ever" long story short it took 4th gear to beat him. came back shut my car down and less then 10 min later we were gonna leave. and my car started puffin white smoke. drove then the car started to miss fire off idle kinda odd at first it boosted fine but then started to miss all the way up the rpm range. the ride home it stared to wanna over heat. but i just cranked the heat and droped the windows and at 60 mph it was fine. well runnin like 215 or so. so tomm ill look at it more and figer it out. so far iv got blown turbo, poped hg. and pistion rings are tost on one cyl. let me know what ya think.:1zhelp:

I think you need to stop racing your car till its fixed, never a good idea to put undue strees on a car thats not in good health.

1) You fail at english. That was just really hard to read.
2) Sounds like BHG. You can perform a combustion gas test on the coolant to confirm.
3) Perform leak-down test wet and dry. This will give you a good indication of what you are about to replace.

If I had to guess, I would say a complete rebuild is in order for your motor.

Driving like that knowing you have all those problems???? The more you drive it the more you will have to replace. Throw a rod and there goes most of the motor and you will be talking more than a rebuild.

Ouch....my head hurts....BHG no question. I bought my car with a BHG and rebuilt it myself. It is nither cheep nor easy, but a great time to upgrade. I advise getting a turbo timer first then go from there.

What does a turbo timer have anything to do with this problem/thread?

He ran it hard then shut it down bad idea. All turbos needs a turbo timer. Just saying start with bacis; it won't help his BHG. For that he needs arp and mhg love....and about $1500:biglaugh:

puffing white smoke and miss = BHG(most likely)

Driving it when you know its got a problem = :stickpoke
I'm sure the temp gauge read good. Its funny how they do that when there's no more water in there.

has nothing to do with the turbo, it's a long I6 engine with a head that's never tightened down enough and a cooling system that people never take care of.

engines get hotter when turned off, and if it was already hot to begin with...

I think you should have looked under the hood every once an a while.

Serously, If you don't take care of all the little things, and blow off regular service, you are asking for what just happened.

Instead of just fixing what sounds like a bhg, you be wise to look at what caused the problem and fix all the little shit that made the engine take a crap as well. Otherwise, you will just blow the head gasket again, probably in very short order.
