broken bumper bolts???

Just to hear what you guys have done if the bumper bolts that you have broken and did you use a bolt extractor (seems to much trouble not to mention that you'd be trying to take it off upside down)?

I wanted to put back a stock bumper. Thanks for your input.

That's a big bolt to break. You probably the only one who can break it. I guess drill it out and use extractor.

Anyone tried those bolt extractors before? Must be a freaking pain to use taking an upside down bolt. :1zhelp:

Front bar?

The Bolts aren't captive and come out from above with a wiggle.

I had 2 broken bolts in the bumper bar that hold the plastic in place. First I figured I would drill 2 holes in the bumper bar but that steel is so hard it wouldn't drill with the bits I had. Drilled out bolts in the end.

PB blaster and a really big hammer works well too if their a little stuck :biglaugh:

In your case you might have to use a screw driver or something long that you dont mind hammering on and go at it from the buttom.
