Ok so I am currently taking off the rear subframe to replace the bushings and while removing the 14mm bolts that hold on the bracket for the subframe bushing the welds seem to of broken from the inside where the 14mm bolt screws in. Unfortunately there is no way to get to were to bolts screw in unless I cut into the area where the rear seat snaps in. So are these bolts intended just to hold the bracket on, could I just cut the bracket in half and not worry about putting these bolts back in, or do they provide structural support to the subframe. If they do provide structural support should I cut the hole from the inside and weld it back in place so I could remove the bolts as well as put the bolts back into place once its time to put the subframe back on.
Here is a pic of the bolts that I'm talking about.
