Bringing my car back to life and having issues

Whats going on guys, I'm trying to bring my car back to life and I'm running into a few difficulties, namely getting it started. The car sat for 3 years in my driveway and after swapping in an FFIM and trying to start the engine to make sure its running I got nothing. No clicks, nothing. I checked all my fuses, relays and everything seems functional, even the power wire to the starter is getting 12v. I'm not sure if in the process of swapping the manifolds I may have overlooked something or from sitting something has gone bad. Before I let the car sit it started up fine, even my battery still works fine and holds a charge. I'm thinking that possibly my ecu has gone bad and if so what would or could be the tell tale signs? When the key is in ignition position would I throw a check engine light? I've been out of the game for sometime and am very rusty. Any input is appreciated as I'm hoping to put the car back on the road relatively soon. Thanks again... My car by the way is a 90 turbo 5spd.

?Which parents?
Are your dash lights coming on? Do they go off and on when you turn the key? I had that problem after I put my motor back in, I thought I missed a ground wire or somthing, long story short I took it to my mechanic and it turned out to be the ignition switch. Alos if you have som wire and can get to the starter solenoid clip and attach a wire, take that wire and touch it to the positive side of the battery see if it turns over weather it does or doesn't that might give and idea of where to start looking. Now i'm not a certified mechanic I've just learned a few tricks. Good luck.

Yeah the dash lights turn on, checked power to the ecu, starter wire, fuel pump, starter relay lol almost everything actually and seemingly enough they were all getting power. But nevertheless the car wont start, it's been sitting for quite a while so I'm going to bang on the starter tomorrow and see if that wakes it up at all, along with checking more power sources. Everything seems to be grounded out as I have two grounds to secure the starter and battery. It's still baffling though, thanks for the response and if anyone has any other input it is much appreciated...gnite!

The starter is good but I'm getting no fuel pressure whatsoever, pump is not turning on and after testing ecu power and it being good I'm downright stumped. Any suggestions?

Hey IJ thanks for the reply, you mean jump it at the diagnostic box or at the pump itself? How would I jump it at the diag box? I was going to jump it at the pump plug and see if it works tomorrow, and no I have not pulled codes, lol I'm a tad rusty and forgot most of the codes list and how to pull them...for shame I know.. Just doing the best I can I suppose.

Try jumpering the pump at the diagnostic plug and see if it pumps, have you checked codes yet?

Alright, pulled codes got 51 and 41. Jumped the pump and everything works fine, but am getting no spark whatsoever. Checked power to the igniter and that was good, so I'm pretty much stumped. Any direction as to what to do about getting no spark? I'm almost positive it would fire right up if I had spark...Any ideas? Oh I also grounded out the coil packs and even pulled a plug to check if it was arching while cranking and still no dice, mind you I am jumping the starter as well because it will not crank at the ignition switch. Pretty clueless at this point...??

Update!

So I found out what the problem was, CPS wasn't wired correctly. After jumping the starter/fuel pump, it fired right up!! After sitting for 3 1/2 years in my driveway nonetheless lol...Now my only issue is that when I turn the key to the on position I get nothing as far as it won't crank via key nor will the fuel pump kick on. BUT, if I jump the fuel pump and the starter it starts and idles fine..Any ideas why it won't crank or kick on the pump via the key? Seems odd to me..Thanks!!
