All Rite just check it...

I code codes: 31, 41, and 51:nono:
The 31 is the AFM
the 41 is Throttle position sensor... ????
the 51 is switch signal... ????

I dont know what to do about the 41... It says i might have a throttle position sensor short circuit... :icon_conf where would i look???

The procedure is you start with the lowest code first. So you will need to diagnose the AFM.

First thing to do is check the wiring, make sure the connector and harness is not damaged, pins aren't bent, broken, or corroded, and the wires are not obviously broken, especially where they go into the connector.

Other than that, it is a little tricky to diagnose the AFM without a scope, your best bet is to find a replacement that you can substitute in. You can read about it here if you like

I got a code 32 because my o2 wires was melted, so check your o2 sensor (you can test it with a mutimeter, but I'll bet you need a new one)

i think inspecting the hg is an appropriate suggestion since the car has 200k miles on it:aigo:

if its got 200k on it then its almost impossable that some one hasn't changed the HG lol
