So i like how a lot of you guys want the wing but no one ever hopped on it when it was for sale for 600... Just wanted to let everyone know that i sold my wing for almost triple the price i paid. Good luck getting your hands on one guys! Youll be fighting with me.... AGAIN for one :p

$600 seems reasonable to me as well. Once I finish my current top priority of getting her running, I will have money ready to go for anyone that owns one and is kind enough to get a mold made =D

Talk is cheap gentlemen. I see FIVE of you who seem rather eager. I can't really help you out here, but are you guys ready to put some money where your mouth is in the event that Shine were to decide to replicate this for whatever reason? I mean, at a $600 market price, that's $3000 for them in sales... I really don't know what that means on their end, but in any job I ever had, 3k wasn't anything to be sneezed at. :)

Hoping this happens, would be good to see a few more of them out there.

Edit: I may have missed the post, but has anyone bothered contacting Kaminari about this? If they still have the molds, I'm sure they would be your best/cheapest source... and this may explain why Shine hasn't made a replica (copyright law of a US based company perhaps?), just a thought.

If shine makes a gb list and figures it out but waits on production till they get a certain amount of buyers I have money to buy one granted asking price is fair.

The problem first of all would be creating 3 different molds for the wing alone, then sourcing the mounting hardware, nuts, bolts etc. especially for the sides, those would require their own, or maybe an adaptation of the original turbo hardware, but then again N/As never came with them. Then there's the issue with the 3rd brake light. I don't think Shine is even going to attempt to replicate that. It is not the same as OEM, by the way.

There are the issues that I'm sure are stopping them.

Those issues all seems very minor to me, you can source hardware all day long, and if your good at what you do I'm sure you could adapt a stock break light to the mold or not even offer it at all. Keep in mind it would only be a "replaca" and there will be differences between the two I'd image.

DYI mounting hardware is a piece of cake. A 3rd brake light that fits perfectly on the Kaminari wing could be bought easily brand new. A replica would be 100% identical to an original. There is one basic reason why shine wont replicate

Shine does not believe that there will be enough buyers to justify the time, degree of difficulty, and cost of making the mold.

Rodels rear spoiler is the only thing that would make me dump my whaletail look. Im setup good as I am for now, but if this goes ahead, I will be in on it. I could care less about the 3rd brake light btw... dont have it with my whaletail...
