crower cams (not bc) blow butthole. WORST customer service + products ever.. my dad got fucked over by them...

All the base circle diameters were spot on and all clearances came in within about 3 thou of the factory cams. I only adjusted two shims.
However, the distributor drive gear is out of phase and is a complete pain in the arse. In the designed position I cant get more than about 5 deg BTDC static advance. Advancing the dizzy by one tooth gives me way too much advance and if I adjust the distributor I can't get less than about 20 deg BTDC static advance. I ended up filing a bigger slot in the dizzy to get about 13 deg BTDC static advance.
The only other guy I know who has tried these cams had exactly the same issue. I emailed Brian Crower regarding this issue and got a complete blank. "No one else has reported this issue".
Anyway. Great value cams, but beware of the dizzy drive phasing issue.

And if you bought turbo cams I could see that as a problem. May not be the case, but just an idea. I have my cams on order from BC and was told they are on back order at the moment. So im stuck in a holding pattern on em.
