breather for ISC

If i am running speed density, can i take off the breather hose for the ISC and replace it with a little filter? I am trying to clean up engine bay.

I made the mistake of installing a small metal breather filter and it's driving me crazy. I've heard it'll be pretty loud no matter what small filter I use. I'm really not trying to run a line to the intake pipe, but I might have to unless someone can chime in with a small quiet filter that will work.

speed density as in a piggy back like the HKS VPC?
as mentioned by the others, it is going to get loud. Perhaps to some annoying, to others, they are deaf as it is loud.
