I ask because i have had alot of issues with the CPS wiring, Some times i have to get out and move the wires around for the car to start. That doesnt happen to often though.

I think you just found your problem.

The ignition sequence goes, CPS, ECU, Ignitor, coils, wires, spark plugs.

And if the cps is weirding out then non of it can work.

I re-wired the CPS and its still haveing the same problem. Im really lost at this point and really need some advice as to what to check next. I feel like bashing my head into a brick wall at this point.

Ok ill check the cps, i already checked the Ohms on the afm and all the terminals read 0 except for the last two closest to the filter, those two read .15 ohms

going back over to my friends house to check alot of things. Going to check the ignitor, CPS air gaps, TPS, and what ever else i can think of. If the injector got grounded wrong or had an issue with the ground would the plug going to it still have 12volts?

Ok well i checked the resistor and it was pulling 3 Ohms like it was suppose to.

I checked the TPS and it was within specs.

I checked the 3 plugs in the coil pack from the ignitor for good voltage, there fine.

I then checked the CPS air gaps. TSRM says they should have an air gap between .008-.016 ...G1 pick up and G2 pick up were not with in the specs. G1 and G2 were almost touching, i had to use a .004 feeler gauge to fit between them. NE pick up was just fine though. Is .004 to close?

Yes it needs to be within TSRM spec.

So would slight of a difference cause the break up under boost? The pickups look like there in good condition, no cracks or anything.. i wonder how they got closer. And can they be adjusted?

Heres what spark plug #1 looks like, this is the cylinder that i cant feel a pulse from the injector. Tell me what you think.

Does your camera have a macro feature?

Your pic is focused on the ground, not the plug - I'd like to see a clearer image.

I Think i have sourced the problem! Since i could NOT feel the #1 injector pulsing i looked further into that issue. I pulled the spark plug wire off the #1 spark plug, I started the car and it ran at the exact same RPM as it does with the wire connected to the spark plug, only difference is it has a miss. which was excpected because theres no spark. Since the car was running with no spark to #1 cylinder there should be fuel in the cylinder, Right? So i pulled the spark plug out and there was practicaly no fuel in the cylinder. The top of the piston was just barely damp, the spark plug was dry. So am i correct in thinking that the #1 injector is not flowing properly??

Ok finaly good news. The problem has been fixed. Still not exactly sure what the problem was though. I took out the injectors to have them test flowed and cleaned. The guy from the shop called me and said all the injectors were flowing great, and flowing equal with each other and that they didnt need cleaned. So i went and picked them up, came back and put them back on the car. I installed them in a different order than they were before. After i put them back on and went for a drive the problem had completely gone away. And the car was pulling harder than ever... So i guess it was just an issue with how the injectors were situated or how they were plugged in. Not sure on what exactly was wrong but none the less very happy with how the car is driving now :) Thanks to all of those that helped me out with with this problem!
