I need to get new brakes for my sup.. but not sure what pads to get. Its a daily driver, stock. I want something that works well, but has very low dust (i'm lazy and hardly wash my car). What do you all recommend

I will be getting new blank rotors as well.

I've had toyota pads before and they dusted quiet a bit.. Of course it could of been my old cards slotted and drilled rotors as well.

I've heard good things about ceramic before.. Do they make a rear pad? I can only find a front pad online.

Advanced autoparts has a raybestos ceramic front pad for a few bucks cheaper. Any advantages/disadvantages of either?

I havent found a ceramic for the rear of our cars yet. A qaulity semi-metalic does very well on the back and doesnt produce much dust.

I cannot comment on Advance brakes as I have never used them before. I have had issues with AZ pads in the past.

I run porterfield rs4 pads and brembo blanks. Pads and rotors work great for street use, they are smooth and quiet, but very dirty. I purchased this combo because I was told the porterfields are cleaner, not by my standards.

what about organic lifetime warranty exchange pad's from az?
just asking

My rule for AZ is, anything I have to ask for I dont need. There are very few exceptions to that rule. AZ is great for oils, anti-freeze, Perma-tex and wiper blades. Everything else, for the most part, your getting what you pay for.

after using the AZ crap and EBC pads I went back to using Toyo oem pads. The OEM pads are dusty in the beginning but after 500 miles it stopped and it has little dust and I couldn't be more happier with these pads compare to the other two brands. Should have bought it in the first place.

I agree on all counts. The Porterfields are exceptional pads but damn are they dirty.
