The time has come for new brakes. My Supra is a weekend/cruiser car so no need for anything fancy. Do you guys have any favorite pads or anything? I was thinking about going stainless steel lines as well. Any opinions?

I'm thinking just pads and some quality fluids, might fit the bill. Any recommendations?

Yeah some good pads and rotors will do the job. Don't buy into that cross/drilled shit. I changed my rotors with Duralast rotors from autozone comes with 2 yr replacement warranty and bought a set of OEM pads from Toyota and there you have it. It does its job and works great too.

SS lines will help the pedal feel.

Good pads and fluids make a huge difference.

i was just reading info about people worrying about ss lines. something about how you always have to make sure they aren't leaking. any info about this or is the info out there, i haven't looked into it yet.

Cheap SS lines can be a bit dodgy but of you go for brand name quality parts they will have a clear sheath over the braid and this prevent crap chaffing the inner liner over time.

also the limiting factor is the crimp fittings on the lines as well that allow them to be DOT approved...

there are better fittings, but they're not legal...
