im slightly confused here. this is what i fitted on my car

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GOODRIDGE-BRA...VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247

they go from the hard copper (or whatever) lines from under the car to the calliper.

there a straight fitment. however if the old flexi hoses have been on a long time then theres a good chance you will snap the hard brake line at the fitting. in which case you need to fit new lines underneath aswell.

My car is currently in a garage having this done. new copper line will be ran right through from front to back

Alright, Shouldn't be any confusion. What that kit is the flex fitting from the lines to the caliper. Makes sense. So I made need to buy new steel lines as well?
correct me if I am wrong.

sorry for any confusion.

Does anyone know if 935 motorsports, or a2 motorsports will ship their brake line kits to canada and relatively quick? I wouldn't mind purchasing from someone who this site supports. I'm sure it's just as quick and reliable as ebay.

thanks again.

I come from a land down under
You CAN'T use Copper for brake hardlines.....

It needs to either be Stainless (very hard to flare) or Bundy tube which is Copper coated STEEL tubing and all Flares need to be DOUBLE FLARES for safety.

Seriously guys this is one area that needs a pro touch to get 100% right as there's no margin for error.

(I did this for a living as a kid)

To all who are interested. I bought the Russell kit from a2 motorsports, having it shipped 2nd day air. I have a mechanic lined up to do the job for super cheap. which is perfect. so everything is coming together, thanks to all who gave me some info and their two sense.

and to answer the mysterious question about the titanium brake lines, the mechanic who did all my engine work showed me the lines. and the word titanium came out of his mouth. I saw them with my own eyes, so maybe we can pull a few things out of our hats up here in canada. Believe what you will, I didn't see why they wouldn't exist. anyways.

take it easy

til another problem arises. which they are going to on this vehicle for the next month or so.

I doubt I will be doing to see that guy again. He did good work on the engine, but I could tell he was trying to weasle more work from me and crap like that, unfortunately. I wish I could send you some of that stuff.
