Brake Lines

So the time has finally come to replace the 22 year old brake lines in the 86.5. A mechanic has suggested I use titanium brake lines that will never rust, and last longer than any human on earth. I personally think it's over kill. I know that aftermarket brake lines are not going to be as good as factory. I am looking for two suggestions here.
1) suggested brake line kits, brand, from who, and where I can get it in Canada ASAP. I read on a couple other threads that toyota break lines were preferred by one owner. All I know is that everything from toyota costs a fortune, is there anything comparable that will be a little less pricey.

2) in terms of the brake line job itself. Is it something that I should do myself, which I am confident I can do, and would love to do myself because I like the hands on approach... but for some reason can't fully come to trust myself. or when it comes to something as important as stopping a pile of steel that moves 120/km an hour, should I leave it to a professional?

so a quick recap, I need a good set of brake lines from somewhere asap. and I would like some insight on doing the job myself, and perhaps some tips, hints, tricky things to watch out for, etc.

thanks in advance fellas.

He's in Canada. Who knows what those folks can pull out of a hat.

That being said. This would be the 1st time I have ever heard it.

Toyota OEM.

OEM brake lines from Toyota look to be about 200 plus shipping. You guys(meaning all of SM, not you guys in this thread) should use the EPC more often. The price estimates given within it are normally close enough.

That's not that bad actually.

Can you link me to this EPC?Normally what i do is, if it can be replaced with an aftermarket part, I go that route ;)

i fitted goodridge lines on my car. not the s/s ones though. they seem spot on and i only paid £45 for them. over here 1 toyota oem line is something like £65

theres a much more solid feel to the brakes.

Goodridge is what I put on a while age, I know I didn't pay more than $65 for them. A plus over stock as the stock are still rubber and they can expand under pressure. The SS ones gave me a lot better pedal feel.

I appreciate all those that responded, I am wondering...

How much brake line do I need to buy to do the job? I'm just going to buy a spool of it but I would like a rough estimate of how much. Toyota should be able to get me the fittings.

My other questions is for anyone who has done the lines on their supra before, did you need to do just the main lines that run under the car that are exposed? or were the ones in the front end and up more out of the way pretty bad? should I just do them all to be safe?

thanks in advance.
