Looking for the brake line size as well as the fitting thread and flare style. Im pulling the ABS out of my car and need to make a couple brake lines. I understand how important ABS is, and the reasons i shouldnt remove it. That said i have a TH350 and zero percent chance of getting a rear speed sensor to work, so the ABS isnt functional at this point anyway.

Does anyone know the thread and flare style? I saw some mention of m10x1.0 and bubble flare but not sure if that was ever confirmed.

I would just bring the part once it's removed that way your not gonna have a chance of ordering the wrong one from possibly a tread that wasn't right

M10x1.0 threads, double flare like normal brake lines, not entirely sure on the line size (ID/OD), though.

I just ordered new from dealer. Fairly cheap. I would get the one that runs clear across firewall for na car.

I think proportioning valve is different, you'll need to check.

Most lines at parts stores are 3/16" tube with metric fittings which will work. Just need correct thread. OEM is metric size. I'll measure one of my new ones.

For anyone searching i can confirm that all are inverted flare, no bubble flare. I used 3/16" tube and re used the metric ends. I can confirm size of the threads tomorrow on a spare end.

Cant order the lines anymore, pretty sure there discontinued.

Anyone know if theres a difference in the bore diameter of a ABS master and NON ABS master? Im thinking of replacing it while im doing all this work, might just stick with what i have as its what im used to. I dont think i have ever had ABS activate besides the one accident i got into about 10 years ago so id say that im pretty used to the pedal feel.

All i can find is that the ABS master is 1" Bore.

I believe that W(*66) means with ABS. So no, not the same.

I'm sure Jeff could confirm if he is still around.

Yea i saw that, im trying to figure out the difference. i saw Jeff mentioned that up to 90 or 91 the front brakes were the outer outlet and rear were inner, and then they swapped after 90 or 91 but i think the bore size is all the same.
