brake lights

I was wondering what would make the passengers side brake light much brighter than the drivers side. Both my supras are doing it, the drivers side is so dim you have to squint to see if its working.

I thought a bad ground, but havent been able to find anything, got any suggestions?

my front orange lights were the same, I changed the bulbs and it was equal again. Check the bulbs first, it's an easy $4 fix. Unless it's NOT the bulbs, which it sounds like it might be the wiring, maybe a cable is chewing through.

bad ground, both my supras had the same problem, when brakes hit, one goes out, one lights up, when off they all work? just ground from the body to the ground on the lights for each side
