i am just wondering if there is an advantage to having the bov closer to the intercooler or the throttle body?? please help

I have always read that you want the BOV as close to the throttle body as possible since the pressure starts building in the intercooler piping starting at the throttle body...Also you would use a shorter vacuum line this way as well so it seems like a win win in the response category
