Ok, first off I am a little embarrassed to admit that I didn't realize this long ago but I am going to ask anyway.

So at SILV this last year (yeah I know this is a lot latter, but I store my car for the winter and am just getting around to stuff), I noticed after looking at others setups that I still have my stock BOV installed. I also have an after market one installed in my upper hard pipe going into my 3000 pipe. The aftermarket ones seems to work fine (it is not recirculated, yet...) and I don't have stalling issues.

So my questions are: Will this have a negative effect on my turbo? Will having the two BOV's work against each other or one hinder the others correct function? Which set up should I stick with, delete the stock, leave both, etc?

Thanks for all the help as always.

I have a stocker and a SSQV on my IC pipes too and it works just fine. I've been meaning to plug off the stock one but the car hasn't run in such a long time I have other priorities. There weren't any problems doing it though, and I can't think of anything that would go wrong... Both bovs would just open at whatever pressure they're set at, there's no interference or anything.

If you are going to keep both which I see no problem doing so make sure the stock one is working remove it and blow through it if you can blow through it toss it in the trash.

This. Or upgrade the stocker to a Bosch.

Thanks for the replies! I will probably just leave the stock one in place as it seems to be functioning or should I say my HKS one is.
Thanks for all the help as always!

Yes, but if your stock BPV is dead, it'll take you longer to build boost. ;) It's like a giant leak from the pressure side to the non-pressure side when broken. At least take it off and check it.

Will definitely do, thanks Shaeff. Luckily I am not having any problems building boost :icon_bigg... for now.
Thanks so much for all the replies.

if this doesn't cause a problem then should i put back on my stock one with my current turbonetics one, that way i could rule out the possibility of a BOV stalling problem.
