Well..that site you directed us to seems to be everything you'll need right there. It should just be replacing a section of your stock IC pipe.

Hold on a sec...I'll find a video w/ the way it sounds.

i do have a question (sorry to thread jack) but you guys running vented BOV's how does yur car run on day to day driving??? i mean i know it won't leak at idle like DSM's do but does it run good then??? i know damn well all of you here aren't running MAFT Pro with speed density or MAP ECU, so how does it run??? i just got my SSQV in the mail 2 days ago and waiting on full 2.5 inch piping to come in so i can fab it up. so im curious.

Well, everyone online talks about how after letting off quickly under boost, it will start to fall on its face like it wants to die...my car does NOTHING like that. When I dynoed, I ran 12.1 AFR's across the sheet and occaisionally at WOT at high speeds, she'll get a little rich, but no harm is done and it is my daily driver as well. To answer your question, it runs great.:)
The first day or two have having it vented, it was sort of hesitant after getting off boost and acted weird, but after the ECU got familiar with it...it's just fine.:)

SWEET!

thats what i was hoping for. thanks

back on topic the Bosch will suit you just fine but anything over that i would consider piping and better BOV

ditto

i had the stocker then went to bosch 107 or something. the stupid hooting owl one.......and then i got the 60-1 4in inlet 2.5 outlet and my IC piping and BOV are too small so it surges like crazy!!!! so now 2.5in piping is on its way and SSQV is already here.

i wouldn't blow of to atmosphere. your drivability will be better and probably save some gas if you recerculate.

Yeah..well, I've already gave in to myself that my Supra will never get good gas mileage...I honestly don't care anymore. If it sounds good, does it job and looks good under the hood, I am happy with it. I didn't get a Supra to get good gas mileage.

EXACTLY

i just dont want it to be like the DSM

on a dsm venting it will literally shut off after a damn shift. damn POS MAF. lol

i would recirc the stock one and have the HKS as well but that means an extra nipple on the hard pipes and no thanks

Yeah...I didn't know how it was going to act on my ECU...but after a couple days, my AFR's are good and my car doesn't fall on its face!:)

I came from a DSM background and I've got many friends w/ DSM's still...They don't like to be vented...Trust me...I know...LOL

oh yea i've owned one and i know as well.

i did it when i was a ricer back in the day before the supra. I would put a 20oz bottle cap in the stock recirc hose (fit PERFECTLY) then i'd blow off at meets n shit (yes i know pathetic) and it would die if i didn't blip the throttle to keep it running right after it blew off.
