Are you planning to turbo? If so IMHO the 7M electronics approach is better unless you're going standalone. The wiring changes are minimal, plugs into the body harness, and you've got an ECU already tuned for a turbo motor. Regarding ignition, you can mod the 7M CPS (easy) to replace the 2j disty or wire up the IS300 COPs the same way you do on a 7M. Your MAFT will work the same as on the 7M as well.

If you're planning on running AEM, the 2jzge harness might be better because you can PnP, otherwise I don't know why you'd use the 2jzge ECU and harness unless you're planning to stay N/A.

There's a 2jzge vac diagram along with everything else you need to know for the 2j w/7M electronics swap in the link in my sig.

I have a masterpower T-70 thats on my 7m right now that I plan to swap over. Im just going to go on the 7m route. Much easier. I want to do the IS coils with 2jzgte valve covers and galley cover and an FFIM.

Know anything about FFIM on a Ge motor?
