No probs it's just one of those Supra Myths that pops up now and again and probably goes back to someone did the 1.5Jz thing and gained some throttle/engine response and thought it was "better" ;)

Yea, ive been anxious to see how Jeff (boost lee's) is. He's a close friend so im excited to see how it responds.

Thanks for the correction though i was unaware!

Thanks for the suggestions. I am still reading and researching what else I need to do it correctly. Any other suggestions on the build I would appreciate it thanks.

the ge can do 400hp on a daily basis, mine is 350-400 at 10psi i'm sure. but then again, i'm running water injection to keep detonation down. i'm noticing anything much higher than this boost with my stock head gasket and t04e 57trim i am probably going to need a thicker head gasket. any more boost than 1bar i would say requires some good tuning if you're on pump gas.

After doing a lot of reading I am still going to go with the GE block but I am not too sure about the GE head or 1jz-gte or 2jz-gte head. From what I read the GE flows better then the GE but the GTE heads have more options on cams. Once again I also have 2 complete GE's hahaha.

I am doing straight 2jzge. I heard the same about the ge head. I sticking with it is because it allows me to use my 7m electroincs. It cuts out on all the big wiring issues. As far as the block , they are the same minus pistons and oil squirters. If u want oil squirters I heard that the mark is in the casting so it just requires drilling. This is what I was told. As far as cams zazzn. He has a group buy on cams. I really don't know what ur looking for as cams but he has mild to aggressive. If ur serious he can have a cam custom made for u.
