Jake,

You know we are happy you got this shit worked out, but WHY (some of you like to use caps this way) didn't you just BUY the f-ing spring months ago for you're existing wastegate.

Outofstep confirmed that was the issue, but you really don't know if the deltagate is bad.

I know you were advised in other threads to get a new spring.

Oh, no did I just side with IdealSupra-nevermind shoot me now.

Dan, I've been having medical problems, Jayson knows that... So I have been physically, financially, emotionally strapped... I KNOW this Deltagate is crap, I didnt wanna put money into it, I just wanted another wastegate... I'm going to post some pics tomorrow , or soon anyway, of the Deltagate and it's massive design flaws... You'll understand why I didnt wanna waste my time with it...

Im just getting back on my feet financially, and I just happen to have a friend, outofstep, who simply offered me to try his w/g since his car is down... So, now, Im going to buy one for him to replace his, and just keep this one... :D

MDC: nope, dont have 315s, wanna gimme some? I mean, wanna let me BORROW some? :D:D:D Will they fit on my sawblades? hahahahahhahahha I dont know if a 315 will fit with out rolling my fenders... How wide of a wheel would I need for 315s? What offset? *I know, go SEARCH newbie, lol*

Well, even 315's can be spun with enough power.

Nice to see you got the "Mystery Turbo" spooling up right, and that it's making power like you wanted.

The right WG makes all the difference I've found out. (Most of the internal ones I've dealt with can be pretty tempermental, but any of them need a firm spring, that's for sure.)

Next time around I'm getting a large external WG. (Those Ebay ones look great for the money, but I might just bite the bullet and go with a large Tial or Turbosmart Vband clamped one. It all depends on how the 50mm Ebay ones turn out to be rated here on the boards. (So far, nobody has had any problems.)

woohoooooooooo... so does that mean with my turbo that's similar specs (slightly smaller exhaust wheel by a few mm and smaller comp wheel) i should spool at like 3000rpm :D

ya had me real worried that i was gonna be spooling at 6 grand lol

glad you got it sorted ;)
