No they're not. This was the problem I had just before the HG went. Why would I, or anyone for that matter, want to rebuild an engine, knowing you would only to have to troubleshoot it right after. I think I've been pretty plain in my desire to have this thing 100 percent when I get back on the road.

And that's not going to happen until the motor is back in the car and you can provide useful info...like ECU codes.

Rebuild the engine correctly checking each subsystem along the way and if anything is out of spec repair/replace it.

You can't troubleshoot an issue with the engine on the floor so drop the attitude or your stay here will be a short one.
