Boost gauge hook up

I hooking up a aftermarket boost gauge, can this be hooked up to the gauge fuse or can I hook it up to the ignition fuse or neither??? I"m trying to feed power to the gauge, not hook up the light.

so your trying to hook up the light to the gauge?
i have mine hooked up to the key so when the key is on the gauge light is on
or am i misunderstading you
