Looks like the whaletail on mine...

I love the end shot of him torching up the road and breaking traction...
reminded me why I dont have a 1000 HP car... I'd kill myself.. lol (no self-control.. none.. nada)

That's kinda uh... nuts. Congrats to Smiley for sure. Although I'm sure it is very fast if driven right, it is kinda funny to watch on a dyno.

Trust me that car is very responsive. Reason for the delay of power frm WOT is that due to the gearing on the car its got serious mph. Not 100% sure how much but its close or anywhere in the 180-190-200mph area.

Car looks awesome, sounds awesome, and runs awesome.........must be pretty awesome.

1zz coils are unbelievable on the 1jz. I have a 1.5jz as well and I was blowing the spark out with brand new 2jz coils and a HKS DLI. I replaced them with the 1zz coils and now I can gap my plugs to .028 instead of the .020 that I used to do. They're not very expensive off of ebay and well worth it.

Thanks for posting the video. I haven't found any really good car poRn in a while.

I believe it, usually a dyno run tends to start before the power starts coming on to show a full graph of engine power, I get that.

He should be very high on the top speed, as well as being able to actually hit it. Even a stock rev limiter on a 1j, with the 3.73 rear and R154, with a *slightly* taller than stock tire... you're over 200mph max. That's how my car is setup, but no way is it going to be able to hit it on flat ground. ;)

That whale tail sets the car off so nicely, you dont need to alter anything at all on the car. I could pop my original 88 front bumper on my car and be happy, is very interesting to see that. I think those wheels are perfect for the car as well. Its got me thinking.. because the only reason my car is sitting high is to protect the front bumper. I could lose a lot of wheel gap if I swapped back to the original...

It's a BB turbo, you can see the braided water feed line for the turbo plumbed into the water neck in the vid and the pics

There are two styles of center bearing housings

Dry and wet housings.

Wet means it has water cooled jackets inside the housing just like BB turbos yet are journa.

Dry housings are just oil cooled.

Again still can be journal, housings have nothing to do with it...

O___o

They have a cool technology that's been out for awhile that is an oil less ball bearing. As well as oil only.
My 94mm triple ball bearing doesn't have water.

They have air cooled with oil.
