If it's still under warranty send it back. Personally I'd try for a lower psi actuator. Gives you more room to work with your EBC, and you never know if they had a defective run on your particular psi actuator.

I think you're right Bishop, this shouldn't be an issue.

I heard that there was a general rule of thumb with actuators and boost control.. you should never run double your wastegate spring PSI? Is this just for saftey, or will it seriously give you trouble?

This rule of thumb is totally off with my setup. I am running a 14 pound wastegate and trying to run 14 psi of boost. Does this sound odd?

no, I'm trying to just run 1 bar too. I was just asking for future reference. The question was just in terms of boost controllers.. but anyways, I guess its not a big deal.

Ok, so i think i fixed the problem. I set my boost controller at 19.8 psi with a limiter and warning feature which sets my boost pressure back to the actuator spring's default if it reaches over 20 psi. My boost sits at 19.6 (not complaining). The car feels so much more powerful BTW. Its nice. Like driving on ice.

SH- this fixed my problem, however it may not work for you. I may have gotten lucky. Its up to you if you want a band-aid like i have, or if you want a fix. You don't have to dump money into a top of the line boost controller but it worked for me. Anyways thanks, and feel free to PM me.

Also thanks Bishop and Mike
