Boost Controller

Ok so i hooked up the through piece instead of the boost controller and i got stock boost!!!:icon_bigg

Then i hooked up a turbosmart boost controller (bran new) and the same FUCKIN thing happened... BOOST CUT!!!:3d_frown:

What do i need to do???

PLEASE HELP MY SOUP:1zhelp:!!!!

Sounds like your boost controller sucks are you're not hooking up the lines correctly to it.

No... Both boost controllers works perfectly on my buddy's 300ZX, then when i hook it up the the supra i run into this problem!!!

I know the lines are correct because when i join them together with out the boost controller it works like stock!!!

Could i be one of my Waste Gates??? :aigo:

The same boost controller work just fine on my friends z32.... :cry:

How tight are you going with the boost controller bolt? I would loosen it up all the way and see if it works.

bolt is to short/long? have you tried this mbc on your friends car? is this a home made/ebay bc kit?

I tried it with bolt lose and tight... I even tried a bran new TURBOSMART boost controller none work for me but both work for my buddy's Z32!!!

try to blow through it. from the pic is looks like you have the bolt tightened down all the way. i had to blow through mine to find out my mbc was backwards. the + gave it less boost and - gave it more boost. it's just a valve that restricts the pressure. the more pressure it restricts the more boost you get. if you can't blow throw it that will be like running no waste gate. make sure it is fully released by blowing through it and start tuning it from stock boost. that would be my guess to what is wrong.

(T) both of the waste gates.
Cap off one of the vacuum port.
Connect one of the vacuum ports to the MBC supply.
Connect (T) both of the waste gates to the exhaust.
Use equal length lines from MBC to the waste gates.

Adjust Mbc to desire boost.
