i got a turbosmart dual stage, actually im not able to set boost properly, ima check my wastegate, cuz with the boost controller i cant go under 18 lbs of boost, and thats without pushing the car too much (dont want to overboost)

maybe a factory defect or simply my wastegate :p

I really like the AEM tru-boost, solenoid seems to be of good quality, plus doubles as a sweet boost gauge if you don't already have a nice one!:icon_bigg

I am currently using an HKS EVC 1 (electronic boost controller) and its super simple to use. Turn the knob clockwise for more boost and turn it counter clockwise for less. There is also a high and low boost options but I've never bothered to use it. The only downfall of this unit is you really need a boost guage in order to set it.

"Voodoo III" ebay POS MBC loses boost as RPM's climb and flat out sucks.

I've been considering AEM Truboost for price and ease of install/use. I'm glad to hear a positive here and there. :)

same one i have and its dead reliable. No boost creep or spikes, just exactly the boost i want, when i want it.

the main question for the OP is do you mind shelling out ~$200 for an EBC or go the cheaper route with an MBC? Also what are your current mods as we all my be putting the cart before the horse if you don't have an intake/exhaust at a min.
